Heading back to school? You’ll definitely need a pair of these!
In an post this June, I spoke of the new Tighter Tummy Technology Jeans that Lane Bryant is launching this fall.
Well ladies, that day is finally here!
Lane Bryant sent me a pair of the bootcut T3 Jeans, and let me tell you, I certainly put them through a rigorous month-long test. I wore these jeans to dinner, to travel, to shop, even to move my little brother into college. They are comfortable and extremely flattering to curves.
Here is a dressed up and dress down look I rocked throughout the month
Here Are My T3 Guidelines:
Try tucking your shirt: I preferred tucking in my shirt when wearing these jeans because it defined my waist so well, and gave me a great hourglass. I highly recommend doing so, even if you don’t usually tuck in your shirt.
The ‘Tall’ length is fabulous: If you’re tall like me, the tall sizes of these jeans will fit great! They were a little long for flats, but perfect with heels! (Try rolling under with flats or use the “hemming my way” snaps).
Flare your style: These jeans come in either flare or bootcut, but both do have a noticeably flared bottom, which is perfect for balancing hips and rocking the 70’s trend. Taking a break from straight-cut jeans, I found myself choosing accessories with a 70’s boho vibe!
Dangerous curves ahead: Remember, these jeans are designed to really flatter your curves, so wear them where you want to be seen!
The only downside is the wash; I wasn’t nuts about the light rinse on the thigh. That said, I will definitely buy another pair because they have become a wardrobe staple!

Hey there! Just a quick question. How was the sizing? What size are you wearing?
ReplyDeleteI'd say the sizing is pretty true to fit. I'm wearing a size 16 Tall, and the waist is quite snug (which gives it a slimming effect). Right now I'm between a 16 and 18 on bottom, so they may run a little big!
ReplyDeleteHope that helps! THanks for commenting =)
You are the second blogger I've seen review these jeans and so far everything about them has been positive. I think I'll need to make my way across the border :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, I'd say go for it! It's hard to find a great pair of jeans! Plus, Lane Bryant has really versatile sizing! Here's my guide to to finding your fit (although the best thing to do is just try a few pairs on!)
ReplyDeleteStraight: For women who's waist is relatively even with their hips, look for a "Yellow" right-fit pant at Lane Bryan.
Curvy: Approximately 70% of Lane Bryant's customers prefer the fit of "Red" right-fit pants - for a woman who's waist that is relatively smaller than her hips.
Very Curvy: For a woman who's waist is significantly smaller than her hips (or who's hips are significantly larger than her waist? Tomato - tomato). Look for a "Blue" right fit pant.
They do look great with the shirt tucked in! I have to give that a go this week (with my regulat jeans)
ReplyDeleteooohh you look fabulous in those jeans! You're rocking it babe! :)
ReplyDelete@sharon - definitely do and let me know how it goes!
ReplyDelete@wait until the sunset - why thank you!!
love how these look on you, but i really cant pull off tucking anything into my jeans, you look great though! :)

ReplyDeleteI so agree with LB jeans! The T3 older version are the best I have ever put on! I just am so mad! I should have just worn them out that day, so what a bit short. Boarderline. They were a med sandblast color. 2 buttons again right above zipper. Not off to the side like new style is. Please if anyone knows? Plus they MUST be the flare ones. I have called so many stores! Yes the sizing on these run smaller I take a 16. Reg jeans there are 16 to 18. Jeggings are 14 for me. soph8@live.com
